New Ford Kuga

The new Ford Kuga is the ideal partner for all your on- and off-road adventures – whether or not you’re travelling with a family. It’s a highly dynamic SUV with a confident exterior and enhanced high-tech features.

Exterior design

The new Ford Kuga SUV now features sharper and more muscular contours, resulting in a distinctly athletic exterior design. This reflects the model’s rugged outdoor credentials – while the eye-catching hexagonal front grille, larger wheels and 17-inch, five-spoke alloys further enhance its bold personality. Body-coloured bumpers add a touch of superior style, while bold front fog lamps ensure visibility in the trickiest of conditions. Take your pick from a host of striking paint colours to complete the look – how about Panther Black, Tiger Eye or Race Red?

Interior

On board, you can expect to be welcomed by robust yet refined materials in the five-seat cabin. Leather trims are available in upgraded models for a touch of class. The amount of space is generous, with ample head and legroom upfront and in the back. Even tall adults can sit in the rear thanks to sliding seats. The 456-litre boot is a practical space that increases to an impressive 1,603 litres with the seats folded flat.

Engines and performance

In addition to a cutting-edge 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engine, you can take your pick from 1.5- and 2.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engines. These high-tech powertrains offer the power of much larger engines without compromising on emissions thanks to intelligent, fuel-saving technology. Incorporated auto start/stop also enhances the new Kuga’s green profile, as it cuts out the engine when you come to a halt to improve economy by 4-10%. All this means fewer stops at the pumps, reduced total cost-of-ownership and a reduced carbon footprint for you.

Technology and safety

Choose the all-wheel-drive version to decide exactly how much grip is required for changing conditions, while torque on demand makes for virtually effortless driving. Other available cutting-edge safety systems include adaptive lighting, which now adjusts bi-xenon headlights depending on your speed and oncoming traffic. Improved Active City Stop is now available, designed to prevent collisions at low speeds. As for infotainment, Ford’s available SYNC system hooks up with your smartphone and allows you to control phone calls and music with simple voice commands. What’s more, USB ports come as standard to keep your devices charged on the move.
